Brooch with decorative twirl
This beautiful, handforged penannular brooch that features a winsome twirl will be a unique accent to your scarf, shawl, kilt or viking costume. Finished with a cold blue finish to preserve the material and yet maintain that natural, antique feel and decorated with a lovely, 'rat tail' curl at the ends. This also features a pin that is attached by a punched hole that the brooch goes through at the beginning of the forging process thus permanently securing it rather than being wrapped around the piece like many others creating a more functional and pleasing look.
Brooch part measures approx. 3 inches in length, 2 1/2 inches across at its widest part and the pin measures approx. 3 inches in length.

Care
Brooch will feature a blued finish to prevent rusting, but if being stored for long periods of time, you may want to apply a thin coat of wax or oil to give further protection. Just remember to wipe down before wearing so as not to damage your clothes or fabrics.
