Heart shaped brooch
This is a beautiful heart shaped penannular brooch. It is hand forged with an attached pin. This would add a lovely touch to your shawl, scarf, kilt, cloak or other clothing. The heart is one piece with an opening at the top for the pin to go through. It also has artistic swirls to give it that dressy, yet simple, look.This also features a pin that is attached by a punched hole that the brooch goes through at the beginning of the forging process thus permanently securing it rather than being wrapped around the piece like many others creating a more functional and pleasing look.
Measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide, 2 1/2 inches long with a 3 inch pin.
Offered in two finishes: clear coat for a more authentic, raw steel look or cold blued for a more finished and refined look.
Care
If storing for a period of time, you may want to coat the brooch with a thin layer of wax or oil to prevent rusting. Remember to wipe off prior to wearing so you do not damage your fabrics.
